Keep fit & stay healthy, with Anupam from Ekdoteenbollyfitqueen
Anupam is a fitness instructor who has lived in many different countries and recently arrived in Vietnam. She is certified in Bolly-aerobics program, passionate dancer, and she created her own classes of Bollyfit dance in Saigon. Today she shares with us her tips for healthy skin and body.
I’m Anupam, a fitness enthusiast and health freak.
My love for dance fitness started more as a need than as a profession. I was 33, living in Singapore and overweight after I had my 2 kids. Back in 2013, I started attending weekly dance fitness classes which soon became a way of living and also a profession eventually.
I got certified for the Bolly-aerobics program which worked wonders for me and I could conduct corporate and private classes. Currently in Ho Chi Minh, I run my own Bollyfit dance classes 3-4 times per week. These classes are high intensity, fun, dance classes.
Besides my love for my physical fitness, I do care a lot about my skin and diet. Everyday without fail I consume about 3-3.5 liters of water. This is over and above any smoothie/ fresh juices or coconut water I consume. I also ensure that fruits and vegetables are a part of my daily diet and I don’t eat too much packaged or sugary food.
For my daily skin routine, I wash my face with a regular face wash. Followed by toning and moisturizing with natural products. I also ensure I remove make up before I go to bed (well most nights) and 3-4 times a week I use a night cream. I don’t go for facials however I do indulge in home made face packs with kitchen ingredients.
My favourite is cocoa powder milk and honey 😀. I share with you the recipe, by bespotted.org :
- Ingredients : 1 teaspoon honey, 2 teaspoons milk, 1 teaspoon cocoa powder.
- Instructions : First mix the honey and milk. Add just enough cocoa to get the right consistency – no too thick and not too runny. Mix everything well. Apply the mask to a clean face and leave it on for 15 – 20 minutes. Wash it off and apply an anti-aging face cream.
